One out of three... Although the service manual indicates removing the three wires, I opt to only do the one gray wire on the right as noted above. I is the only wire that is anchored to the chassis. The other two wires run to the side of the mirror box.
3/2012 Update-OOPS!: I forgot to add this image of ASA Volume component, after removal of screws and lifted up against wires to show off the brushes.
So, as noted in the previous post, we unscrewed the "ASA Volume" and the next desolder job is the purple wire under which is soldered on the edge of the spring.
Our next steps will take us down to the bottom plate.
Next..... 05: OK, I'm back... just done a little C-41 and we return to the ME Super...
