First off, I will continue with the ME Super project, however, you can guess what I'm going to work on next and again share stuff about it as I go. Yes, I know about Eric Hendrickson and he is the Pentax Repair Master and an LX is not for the faint of heart. Still, I just want to work on one and the worst that can happen is that I may end up with a pile of parts.
Long ago I've threatened to try and fix those little things once and for all on my beloved LX... and that was due to... violins, please... an evil so called camera repair guy who near destroyed my first and beloved LX back in 2000. Over time and one thing or another and finally heard about Eric Hendrickson, who knows what he is doing, fixed everything he could... and besides how could I operate on my baby?
This one today, however, is different. In good condition... "thanks Dave"... and already opened and although almost able to work, it still has many of the familiar issues that are common on at least the earlier versions of the LX and this one is earlier than my beloved LX.
We will see if I triumph or trash it... confident though.
