The image was adjusted to closely match the density of the actual negative. It was stand-developed for about an hour give or take a minute and with three inversions at the half mark. I do think that some factors are present that altered my outcome. Humidity is one as it seems the washing soda may be weighing more than it should. A review of others caution on this subject is in order. The other factor is the age of the film. My old 400 iso 120 rolls are around five years old now. The next is the salt with Iodide, if it has enough that is. This last run was with 16 grams and I may try to go up to 24 grams now. The negatives are still possessing details, but the heavy fog is not pleasant to see. So next....
Washing Soda 110gm.
Instant Coffee 40gm.
Vitamin C 16gm.
Salt 24gm.
... and we'll see for next time.
Welcome... This is my little blog about stuff related to photography or around the subject of photography. I like to tinker with things as well as learning things to help me be a better photographer or better tinkerer? In this spot you will see some of my experiments and projects as well I'm sure some mishaps or outright failures. I hope you find here something that is interesting to you and drop me a note. Remember, I'm not an actual photographer nor have I played one on television.
